Corporate Communications Writing

Corporate Communications Writing (2020) can be used for college classes in public relations, writing, communications, or business. The book is also useful for those already working in public relations, or whose job requires them from time to time to write materials for a business or organization—newsletters, brochures, ads, speeches and more. Part I gives helpful insights on writing with persuasion and purpose, the ethics of writing, and how to conduct corporate communications audits and write communications plans. Part II, the bulk of the book, offers chapters on how to write specific corporate communications tactics that are paid advertisements; materials produced and owned by an organization, such as newsletters and brochures; and shared media, including websites, blogs and social media. (For help with news releases and media relations, see the companion book Media Relations Writing). Finally, Part III provides instruction on evaluating the success of corporate communications writing. The book is available in print or e-book:
